1- WHERE IS SURF LEVEL MOROCCO?

Surf LEVEL Morocco is located north of Agadir 25 km from the city. We are in Tamraght 15 minutes from the international airport of Agadir Al Massira 2-3 hours from most European airports. The appointment nearest for any European surfer to a good session all year, perfect waves, and a guaranteed journey of 300 days of sunshine a year.

2- GETTING TO SURF CAMP?

Agadir is served by direct flights (2-3 hours) from key major European airports. Upon arrival, we will transport you from the airport of Agadir is a 45minute drive southeast along the coastal road. You also have the option of taking a taxi to the airport for 200-300 dirhams to surf camp or take a bus from Agadir to come to Tamraght, we will pick you if necessary. From Marrakech, you can take a bus, we recommend CTM or Supratours.

3- WHAT ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION?

Our surf camp rested beautiful rooms with the colors of the east of 4 to 6 people ( group or to share with friends and other surfers) , rooms for couples with terrace or a master suite with connecting room access to the children . We also offer , for your long stays or for more privacy , beautiful apartments with sea views , fully equipped ( kitchenette , satellite TV and air conditioning ) . But this offer requires a reservation period.

4- CAN I GET FROM AND WHEN?

You can arrive at any time and any day of the week, but it will not always be possible to have your room ready before 14 hours. If you wish to arrive earlier and your room is not available immediately , we will arrange and we take care of your luggage and you can start on your holiday peacefully. Your departure is officially 12 hours but often depending on your flight, in any case we will do our best.

5- WHAT OTHER ACTIVITIES?

It depends on the package chosen.

The visit to the souk of Agadir is you such proposed, it plunges you directly into a concentrated odor of flavors from the east and you will bring back memories after you have lost so alive in these shops (Moroccan leather goods , argan oil, carpets, blankets, jewelry and clothing, etc.).

The visit of the Medina of Coco Polizzi. Destroyed in the 1960 earthquake, the Agadir Medina was replaced on the other side of the city, Bensergao by a spectacular new development, respecting the art of stone Millennium developed in the Anti -Atlas and by the architect of Sicilian origin Coco Polizzi.

There is also the excursion through Paradise Valley, surrounded by palm trees and transparent natural pools, where you can dive. The path through the ancient valley is easily accessible and will bring you to beautiful waterfalls (which may be dry in summer).

But other activities are available daily from flat.

The carve-boarding, horseback riding or camel or quad are all nearby and are part of our ‘extras’.

For those who want to relax, there are yoga, massage with argan oil, video projections, table tennis or board games. You can also enjoy the sun on sandy beaches, or relax on the terrace.

6- WHAT DO I PUT IN MY CASE?

Summer clothes , beach towel , a swimsuit or board- shorts, sunscreen , pen ( for the form at passport control on arrival / departure) , sunglasses , flip flops , a beach bag , warm clothing for cool nights If you come with your hardware , remember drifts , screws, and the Leach.

7- DO YOU PROVIDE TOWELS?

Surf Level Morocco offers bath towels. But this is not the case for beach towels. Of all the spots you need to bring your own beach towels.

8- HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Morocco is an Islamic country, but moderate, men and women dress quite normally . You can wear shorts and t-shirts. The swimsuits and bikinis can be worn on the beach, but nudity is not recommended (please be discreet when you get dressed ) . For women, it is advisable for outings around the city, do not wear too provocative clothing. It is advisable to be accompanied by a man. It can get cold at night, take pants especially in winter, and make sure to bring warm clothing too.

9- CAN I COME WITH MY CHILDREN?

Children of all ages are welcome , however , some children remain the responsibility of the parents, because we do not have reception center planned for it.

On request , nanny and nursery can be offered for 20 € / Day

10- IS-IS THE BEST TIME TO FUTURE SURFER AND TO VISIT?

Morocco is a great surfing destination throughout the year and the weather is beautiful. During the winter months, the world-class waves make the celebrity of Morocco. There are very large varieties of spots in the region, ideal waves for beginners with large sandy beaches, to the most challenging reefs. The nature of the coast still offers a fallback spot, and for those looking for the radical, you will not be disappointed. Morocco is blessed with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Between the months of November to February, the weather is a little hazy in the morning with a slight chance of rain, but unlikely. The summer months (April to October) the days are very sunny and sometimes surf conditions can change.

Your choice of combination comes down to personal choice and your tolerance to temperature, but in general, you will wear a full body suit 3 / 2mm, and when it gets too hot, you can go in the water according to your will. The majority of our wetsuits are Ripcurl brand in 3/2 and 4/3 full.

11- DO I NEED A VISA?

If you come for a stay less than or equal to three months, the valid passport is required.

If, exceptionally, for some tourist travel in groups organized by a tourism professional, a facility may be exceptionally granted to admit the entrance with only national identity card valid, possession of a passport valid covers the entire duration of the stay remains the rule and may be required at any time by the Moroccan authorities.

Beyond three months, it is advisable to make an appointment with an employee of the Moroccan immigration service and to request an extension which shall not exceed three months.

If illegal status under the permit, a fine and a deportation order accompanied by a ban on residence are applied.

Check that the passport was stamped by the border police authorities (mention of a number during a first visit and entry stamp, under pain of being unwittingly, illegal residents (source www. diplomatie.gouv.fr).

12- WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMS / PASSPORT CONTROL?

When you arrive and leave , you will have to fill out a form with basic information such as your name, date of birth, occupation and passport number . For your address in Morocco , write : Surf Level Morocco , Tamraght.

13- WHAT IS THE LOCAL CURRENCY / Y -A THERE IN EXCHANGE OFFICES?

The Moroccan currency is the dirham . Exchange rates are about 1Dh = 1 € . The dirham are not exchangeable outside Morocco . There is a currency exchange and ATMs at the airport. Some ATMs are available at Agadir and Aourir 15 minutes drive from the surf camp.

Know that traveler’s checks Can not be exchanged at the airport or nearby , some banks take on Agadir . Other small businesses take them too, but you will lose the much lower conversion at your expense. Therefore we recommend to bring travelers checks

14- CAN I USE MY PHONE ON SITE / THE SURF CAMP THERE HAS THE WIFI?

Almost all European telephone operators have partnered with operators in Morocco and have very good network coverage even on beaches. Contact your operator for the conditions of use in Morocco. You can find public phones (with coins and cards). There are also very interesting offers limited time there.

15- DO YOU HAVE FREE WIFI

Yes, the surf camp offers free WIFI access on request when registering on arrival.

16- HOW TO CALL MOROCCO / OF MOROCCO?

The international dialing code of Morocco is +212 . If calling from abroad , dial your international operator code (+ or 00 for Europe on your mobile ) and the number of countries ( 33 for France) . If you see a phone number that is not preceded by 212, you will need to add it. If calling locally , no need of 212 and add a 0 before the number

17- WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?

Although Islam prohibits the consumption of alcohol to Muslims , alcohol can not be sold or served anywhere. Thus, the vast majority of Moroccan restaurants do not have drinking establishment license . Alcohol is sold in supermarkets or in public houses that are still outside the surf camp and Tamraght. But you can always buy in Agadir. Note that the stores selling alcohol close at 8:00 . The places known to buy alcohol in Agadir are Metro, Uniprix and Marjane . Ask us and we will share with you our small addresses.
